Gigantic Quartz Crystal Point--Spectacular!
This spectacular quartz crystal termination is from Minas Gerais Brazil. It stands over 9" tall, is 4.5" across at the base, and weighs over 12 lbs. (23 cm X 11 cm X 5.45 kilos.) RARE--Gigantic Museum Grade PHANTOM Crystal Polished Point
This incredible piece was obtained from a collector in Brazil. It weighs 22 lbs. (10 kilos), stands 8" high (20 cm) & is over 9" across at its base. A "phantom" crystal is a natural point that holds inclusions that are literally an image of itself. These occur when a mineral grows over the dormant quartz' faces. As the quartz again grows, it traps the minerals that were forming on its surfaces, thereby capturing an image of itself when it was smaller.
