The main stone in the body & tail is aventurine or green quartz, which is complimented by vivid orange calcite, red jasper & blue sodalite. The amethyst geode is spectacular also, unusually shaped & holding countless perfect crystals. In the photos there are several of just the base, taken from every angle, to try to convey what a great specimen this is. Under direct lighting it is very gemmy & spakles like diamonds!

This life-sized parrot stands 11.25" high (28 cm) and the entire piece weighs over 8 lbs. (3.66 kilos)
